CS Energy supports community organisations in the areas that host our coal-fired power stations, and in the regions where we are building new renewable energy, firming and storage projects.
Community sponsorships program
Western Downs and Banana Shires
CS Energy provides sponsorships in three funding rounds each financial year in the communities that surround Kogan Creek Power Station in the Western Downs and Callide Power Station in Central Queensland.
Since the program started in 2018, we've invested more than one million dollars in the local communities that host our operations.
Our sponsorships typically range from $1,000 to $20,000 and are awarded to projects that we believe will have a lasting, positive impact on the community.
Eligibility information
To be eligible for a CS Energy sponsorship, your community project or event must align with one or more of our investment areas of focus:

The sponsorship program is open to not-for-profit organisations such as:
- Schools, P&Cs, or educational institutions
- Charities
