what to expect as a graduate

Our graduate program is an immersive experience. It’s designed to give you as much exposure to real-world work as possible – with the benefit of access to seasoned industry professionals and the latest resources, technology and training.

Each graduate will be supported through structured work rotations. Your time and your day-to-day activities at CS Energy will depend on your study discipline and business requirements. At every step of the way you’ll be supported by your managers and mentors.

The program aims to give you the chance to work across the business – giving you a view of how our sites operate so you can gain a true understanding of the complexity of running one of Queensland’s largest generation portfolios.

This pathway to a real career is structured around learning both the technical, and the personal management skills you’ll need to create value in your future workplace.

Opportunities for undergraduates

CS Energy's summer undergraduate program provides a pipeline of talent for our graduate program.

We source our undergraduates from a number places, including our scholarship program, advertising, partnerships with universities and our new partnership with CareerSeekers, a not for profit organisation that works with companies to provide work for refugees and asylum seekers.

CS Energy also provides engineering scholarships for school leavers in the communities where we operate.
