CS Energy is inviting not-for-profit groups in the Greenbank community and surrounding areas to apply for funding through the Greenbank Battery Community Benefit Fund. Established in 2024, the Greenbank Battery Community Benefit Fund offers up to $20,000 annually to support projects, events, or initiatives that align with one or more of CS Energy's community investment areas of: • Safety and environment • Social and community development • Education • Culture and art • Active and healthy communities • Indigenous. A range of local organisations were supported last year, including: • Greenbank Gators Swimming Club Inc. towards a friendly, interclub swim meet of local swimming clubs (pictured) • Greenbank Scout Group for an energy-efficient oven replacement to help Scouts learn to cook • L&L Food Pantry for a commercial refrigerator • C&K Greenbank Community Preschool and Kindergarten for a much-needed shade for the kindergarten; and • Flagstone Blokes, acquiring portable equipment to increase engagement at community events.
