Not-for-profit groups in the Western Downs and Banana Shire regions are invited to apply for financial support through Round 15 of CS Energy’s Community Sponsorships Program. Since the current Community Sponsorships Program started in 2018, more than one million dollars has been awarded to projects and events in the communities surrounding Kogan Creek Power Station in Chinchilla and Callide Power Station in Biloela. Sponsorships typically range between $1,000 and $20,000, and are awarded to projects that have a lasting, positive impact on the community. To be eligible, the project or event must align with one of more of CS Energy’s investment areas of focus, including: safety and environment, social and community development, education, culture and art, active and healthy communities, and Indigenous. Applications for Round 15 will close on Thursday April 10 2025.
