The Queensland Government has provided more information about eligibility requirements for its $500 Utility Relief Payment for small and medium businesses.
If your business consumes less than 100 MWh per annum and has a single account that is active on 30 April 2020, you will be eligible to receive the $500 small business rebate, as an automatic credit on your next electricity bill.
There have been some questions about the eligibility of small businesses with multiple sites, or those that do not a receive a bill directly from a retailer (e.g. franchisees).
