CS Energy recruits for 2021 apprentice intake

Applications are now open for the 2021 CS Energy Apprenticeship Program.

CS Energy is recruiting for apprentices at its Callide Power Station in Central Queensland and Kogan Creek Power Station on the Western Downs.

Six positions are available:

  • Callide Power Station – two Mechanical Apprenticeships and two Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeships.
  • Kogan Creek Power Station – one Mechanical Apprenticeship and one Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship.

Executive General Manager Plant Operations Leigh Amos said the successful applicants will receive formal training and learn how to perform power station maintenance under the supervision of qualified tradespeople.

“These apprenticeships are a valuable opportunity for both recent school leavers and adult learners to take their first step in a career in the energy industry,” Mr Amos said.
