Callide Power Station recruits for 2020 apprentice intake

19 Jul 2019

Applications are open for the 2020 apprentice intake at CS Energy’s Callide Power Station near Biloela.

CS Energy is recruiting for three Apprentice Mechanical Fitters, who will complete a four-year formal training program for conducting maintenance work on power station equipment.

The apprenticeships are an exciting opportunity to be part of the next generation of Queensland’s energy industry, Acting Executive General Manager Plant Operations Alistair Brown said.

“CS Energy has a long history of nurturing the energy industry’s talent pool through our apprentice and trainee program,” Mr Brown said.

“Our apprentices work hands-on with plant equipment under the guidance of committed leaders who are experts in their fields.

“Working at CS Energy you will enjoy being part of a committed and experienced team, working in a safe and supportive environment.”

CS Energy is interested in applications from both recent school leavers and adult learners who want a change in career. Female and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

To apply, go to www.aasn.com.au/index.php/jobseekers/view-current-apprentice-and-trainee-vacancies and look for position 3438. Applications close on 4 August.
