Thirteen community groups in the Banana Shire and Western Downs Region Council areas are sharing in more than $123,000 in funding from the latest round of CS Energy’s Community Sponsorships Program.
CS Energy offers two sponsorship rounds per year to community groups and not-for-profit organisations located in the regions that host its operations.
CEO Andrew Bills said CS Energy was proud to support projects, events or initiatives that will deliver lasting benefits to the local community.
“In this latest round we’ve supported projects such as vital equipment for schools, safety upgrades for sporting clubs and events that contribute to the culture and lifestyle of the Biloela and Western Downs regions.
“Congratulations to the successful applicants and I encourage local not-for-profit groups to apply for our next round which opens on Thursday 20 January 2022.”
